I love Image Transfer! It allows me to 'paint with pictures' and create a more involved story. I am constantly taking and collecting photos that I digitally alter, then print with my ink jet printer. Crows are a favorite subject--I love their blackness, their shape at rest and in flight, their lore, and the sense of melancholy associated with them. Lately I’ve been exploring mixed media in combination with drawing. I enjoy the directness of drawing—the use of fingers and hand to apply marks and smudges, the ability to erase and draw over areas.
